Living on the East Coast allows us to visit historical areas and understand more fully the sacrifices made by our ancestors.

Take a drive through Gettysburg and visit battlefields, monuments erected to the fallen and an interactive museum and gift shop.
The kids enjoyed running loose on the beautiful May day we visited the actual battlefields. in 1863 51,000 men lost their lives fighting a war that saved our nation. On our visit we climbed stairs and overlooked the battle fields, walked around the battle fields and saw old canons once used in battle. Sat next to Abraham Lincoln and learned about each side…the confederacy and the Union.
